MEMBERS

The Concord Township Fire Dept. has been a volunteer department since it began in 1952. Today we function as a combination department made up of both paid and volunteer members.

There is a high level of commitment that can be seen in our members. It takes a considerable amount of time in training and education, not to mention the time spent in responding, to serve with the department. We are proud to serve our community and hope that the work we do makes a difference in the lives of people.

To become a volunteer member, an applicant must pass the application process, medical exam, fitness test, and have a minimum of 24 hours of training followed by a 6 month probationary process. Additional training and meetings take place on the first three Monday nights of each month. It takes a big commitment of time and energy but the experience is very rewarding. Applications are available at the Fire Station or download one here.

You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print our application. Adobe Acrobat Reader is available for free at the Acrobat website. Technical support and installation instructions are also found there.
